Ingredients

flank steak2 Lbs Lean Flank Steak
coconut aminos1/3 Cup Coconut Aminos
liquid smoke1 Tbsp Liquid Smoke
garlic salt2 Tsp Garlic Salt
onion salt1 Tsp Onion Salt
cracked pepper1 Tsp Cracked Black Pepper
ground allspice1 Tsp Ground Allspice
apple cider vinegar1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
peppers1/2 Tsp Crushed Red Peppers (optional)

Directions

Remove any excess fat from the flank steak to ensure longer shelf life.

Cut the steak into 1” strips with the grain for chewy jerky or against the grain for a crumblier texture.

Place the sliced beef in an air-tight container and combine with all other ingredients. Refrigerate and let marinate overnight.

Set your dehydrator to 160°F. Arrange the marinated beef strips on the trays in a single layer.

Dehydrate the beef for 4-6 hours, or until it reaches your desired consistency. Rotate trays if your dehydrator requires it.
